Fourteen seconds long, written for a throwaway gag, and it charted internationally. Jack Black's song from A Minecraft Movie is a masterclass in accidental hit-making: absurdly short, absurdly catchy, and about chicken cooked in lava, which is not a subject with obvious commercial potential. Playgrounds adopted it within days and have never released it since. Play it in front of any child of primary school age and watch them complete the lyric automatically, without appearing to make a conscious decision about it. Spicy, as the song correctly notes.
