About the Wii Click sound
Nintendo spent a genuinely unreasonable amount of effort on the Wii menu, and this tiny click is the proof. Every movement of the pointer across the channel grid came with soft, tactile feedback designed to make waving a remote at a television feel precise rather than approximate. The consequence is that half a second of clicking can drop a whole generation back into a living room in 2007, waiting for somebody to finish choosing their Mii. Perfect as a UI sound in a video edit. Or as a very small nostalgic weapon.
OriginThe pointer click from the Nintendo Wii system menu (2006).
