About the FNAF 2 Scream sound

Toy animatronics, it turned out, were not remotely toys. The 2014 sequel's shriek is sharper and thinner than the original's, all treble and clipping, engineered to slice straight through whatever volume you thought was safe. FNAF 2 also removed the doors, leaving a Freddy mask and your reflexes as the only real defence, so this scream is almost always the sound of hesitating for half a second too long. Essential for horror edits, reaction bait, and completing the Freddy's arsenal alongside the first game's scream. The night shift never once gets easier.
