About the Sonic.EXE Laugh sound
A distorted cackle out of a hedgehog who should not be capable of one. Sonic.EXE started life as a 2011 creepypasta about a cursed game disc and became the defining artefact of haunted-cartridge horror, a genre that only lands if you were young enough to half-believe it. The laugh carries that early-YouTube charge: badly compressed, obviously fake, still unpleasant. Use it for corrupted-character bits, fake-out scares, or the moment something cheerful turns sinister. Every Friday Night Funkin' mod and horror retrospective since has kept it alive.
